The driver was waiting near the door with a welcome board with my name. He had parked the car so that we only had a very short walk. He clearly explained the "political demonstrations" happening in Leipzig and that we had nothing to worry about. He also explained why he was taking us along some small dark roads in the city. It was because the police and demonstrators had closed off the big well lit road. He seemed genuinely surprised and grateful when I gave him more money than our agreed fee.

During our stay we realised we might be leaving too late as we hadn't allowed for huge amounts of traffic on the road (busiest day of people heading home after New Years holidays) . I rang the office and they agreed that the driver would arrive earlier, following it up with an email confirmation. The driver arrived on time and made different diversions so as to avoid the traffic jams. Would definitely recommend this company to family and friends !
